About the Honey Project

Becky Wright, Project Director
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
The Honey Project is an international youth oriented business venture designed to market and sell imported organic bee honey from Africa in the U.S. High school students participate in a 12-week entrepreneurship training and upon completion, students are eligible to transition into the Honey Project as “partners” where they have an opportunity to manage and run the Honey Company. The Honey Project educates our youth in developing an entrepreneurial mindset while providing rural African farmers with sustainable living wages through beekeeping and honey production.
